Customer Service / Office Assistant
We are looking for an assistant to help in our office. The office assistant will help management with day to day operations such as performing timely and accurate billing, invoicing customers, answering phones. The assistant will also provide excellent customer service by handling customer requests and inquiries.

Experience in freight forwarding/logistics/supply chain is desired but will train if necessary. Must be team-oriented who is dedicated to client service by having excellent interpersonal and effective communication skills. An attention to detail with excellent follow through is imperative.Must be computer literate in Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office (i.e. Word, Excel, etc.). Adobe acrobat and QuickBooks accounting experience are a big plus. Long-term growth opportunities possible.

Manager ( Import and Export) Rosedale, NY
Coordinates and oversees activities of international sales division of freight and forwarding services company. Negotiates service contracts with International and Domestic Air and Ocean Carriers. Manages sales force in over 22 countries and responsible for route development and management of North America based cargo. Travel overseas extensively to meet representative agents and existing customers at production plants and piers to update their shipping needs. Manages air and sea operations and documentation in offices in New York City, Los Angeles and Rosedale. Oversees compliance with regulations of the Federal Maritime Commission, the U.S. Customs and the Department of Homeland Security on inbound cargo.

Must have ten (10) to twelve (12) years of experience in the field and at least five (5) years of Overseas Operations and Management Experience in Freight Forwarding and Shipping. Must be fluent in Hindi and Tamil. 40 hrs/wk, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
